I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I graduated from Alief-Elsik High School as its valedictorian in 2000. I hold degrees in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science and Philosophy from MIT and a MBA and a JD, Order of the Coif, cum laude, from Northwestern University.
I have a love for community service. In the past, I served as a Board Director of BPSOS, as the Chairman of Youth Programs of the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association (VCSA), as a Board Director of Sunflower Mission, and as a founding member of the Vietnamese-American Scholarship Foundation (VASF). I am the proud editor of the I Am Vietnamese Anthology.
